Hello internet goer, welcome to Make type work. I’m Jake, and I love fonts. I’m here to share tips I’ve gathered up over the last decade plus to help you feel more confident working with text. By day I’m an Experience Designer on the Adobe Fonts team, which is a fancy way of saying I help people find and use fonts across Adobe products. So much of my work focuses on scale, so I wanted to explicitly work on a side project which doesn’t scale at all. It’s just me sharing ideas and seeing what’s helpful. No AI recommendations here, just some good old HI—Human Intelligence†.
