Hi internet friend, I’m Jake and I love fonts. I’m here to share tips I’ve gathered up over the last decade to help you feel more confident working with type. By day I’m an Experience Designer on the Adobe Fonts team, which is a fancy way of saying I help people find and use fonts across Adobe products. So much of my work focuses on scale, so I wanted to explicitly work on a side project which doesn’t scale at all. It’s just me sharing ideas and seeing what’s helpful. No AI recommendations here, just some good old HI—Human Intelligence†.
